1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:

Information You Provide Directly: When you submit our contact form, optionally opt in to SMS at our SMS Opt-In page, book a consultation, or reach out via email, phone, or SMS, we collect:

- Phone number (mobile number only if you choose to opt in to SMS)
- Project details and messages you send us
- Account Data (Client Portal & Mobile Apps): If you create an account in our client portal or mobile application, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and any information you choose to provide within the platform (bookings, messages, support tickets, uploaded files).
- SMS Program Data: If you voluntarily opt in to our SMS messaging via our dedicated opt-in page or any other method, we collect your mobile phone number, the date and method of opt-in, and message engagement metadata (such as delivery status and replies like STOP or HELP).
- Usage Data: We may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and time spent on our site to help us improve our Services.
- Device Permissions (Mobile Apps): Our apps may request access to device features (such as Camera or Photo Library) solely to provide core functionality. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
- Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as your cookie consent choice and display theme). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Send invoices, project updates, and service-related communications (via email by default; via SMS only if you opt in)
- Process payments securely through PayPal
- Send optional SMS messages you have voluntarily consented to receive, including:
- Optional one-time passwords (OTP) and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes for logging into our client portal and mobile apps (email-based 2FA is always available as an alternative)
- Account and security alerts (e.g., login notifications, password changes)
- Appointment and booking confirmations and reminders
- Customer support replies to messages you initiate
- Service-related notifications from 4LINB LLC
- Improve and maintain our website, client portal, and mobile applications
- Monitor for security issues and prevent misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Program (Optional)
We operate an entirely optional SMS messaging program through a phone number provisioned via Twilio Inc., our messaging service provider. This section describes how the program works and your rights as a subscriber.
3.1 SMS Is Never Required
SMS opt-in is not a condition of using any 4LINB LLC service. All of our services — including the client portal, mobile applications, consultations, customer support, and project work — remain fully accessible whether or not you opt in to SMS. Email-based two-factor authentication (2FA) and email notifications are always available as alternatives. If you choose not to opt in to SMS, or if you opt out later, you will not lose access to your account or any service.
3.2 Types of Messages
If you choose to opt in, you may receive:
- OTP / 2FA verification codes sent when you log in to our client portal or mobile applications (only if you selected SMS as your 2FA method; email-based 2FA is always available as an alternative)
- Account and security notifications (login alerts, password resets, account changes)
- Appointment and booking confirmations and reminders for consultations or scheduled work
- Customer support replies when you message us first
- Service-related notifications (project updates, invoice notifications)
3.3 How You Opt In (Voluntary)
You may voluntarily opt in to receive SMS messages from 4LINB LLC through one or more of the following methods:
- Dedicated SMS Opt-In page: Visit https://4linb.com/sms-opt-in/, provide your mobile number, and check the clearly labeled SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default).
- Submitting the contact form on our homepage where you provide your mobile number and check the optional SMS consent checkbox
- Optionally checking an SMS-notifications box when creating an account in our client portal or mobile application (this is never required to create an account; email is the default channel)
- Texting a designated keyword (such as START, JOIN, YES, or SUBSCRIBE) to our number
- Providing voluntary verbal or written consent during an in-person or phone consultation, which we document
Your consent is specific to the program you opted in to. We will not send you message types you have not consented to receive.
3.4 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the program and your activity:
- OTP/2FA codes are sent only when you request a login or verification (and only if you've selected SMS 2FA)
- Appointment reminders are sent based on your scheduled bookings
- Account and service notifications are sent only when relevant events occur
3.5 Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. 4LINB LLC does not charge you for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Please contact your carrier for details about your plan.
3.6 How You Opt Out
- Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time to unsubscribe.
- After replying STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages from that program.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@4linb.com.
- Opting out of SMS does not affect your access to any 4LINB LLC service. Email-based 2FA and email notifications remain available, and your account, portal access, and all services continue normally.
3.7 Mobile Information Sharing
4LINB LLC does not sell, rent, share, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with our messaging service provider (Twilio Inc.) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you have requested. This policy does not allow third parties to use mobile information for their own purposes.
3.8 Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is supported on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted third-party tools that help us operate our Services (listed in Section 5). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before this occurs.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstance.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
Our Services use the following third-party providers, each with their own privacy policies:

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our Services and fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form submissions are kept for up to 2 years for business continuity. Client portal accounts and associated data are retained for the duration of the business relationship and up to 2 years after. SMS opt-in records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data. For app and portal accounts, you can delete your account directly in the app's Profile > Settings, or contact us and we will process your request promptly.
- Objection: Object to our processing of your data.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- SMS Withdrawal: Withdraw your SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. This will not affect access to any 4LINB LLC service.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): As a California LLC, we respect your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act. You have the right to know what personal data we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate data, and opt out of any sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising). 8. Security
We take data security seriously. Our website and client portal use HTTPS encryption. Access to sensitive server files is restricted via file permissions and server-level rules. Our database uses row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure each user can only access their own data. SMS messages are transmitted through Twilio's secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your information.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. 10. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as client project samples). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
